After nearly 20 months of enduring state-mandated lockdowns, billions of dollars of losses, and thousands of jobs lost, you would expect that the air, hotel, cruise, and convention industry would be focusing on building their businesses, getting travel accelerating to profitable margins and ensuring that conventions and events are filling venues across the nation.

But that is the opposite of what is occurring today in the travel industry.

With oil prices soaring due to the Biden Administration’s energy policy decisions and with inflation hitting all-time highs (issues that deserve the travel industry’s full attention), the industry is instead focusing on insisting that the primary elements of critical race theory and radical subjectivism are fully infused into the travel, tour, meetings and events industry.

At the 2021 IMEX convention in Las Vegas this year (https://www.imexexhibitions.co....m/diversity-equity-a IMEX officials are practicing a form of what is known as “entryism” to ensure ideological orthodoxy in their attempt to create an environment friendly to their doctrinal distinctives.

Firstly, IMEX Las Vegas has required every attendee to be fully vaccinated with no exceptions. It has been made clear to attendees that those that have recently had Covid-19, have strong antibody immunity, and are currently naturally immune are not welcome.

Although IMEX has been consistently pushing progressive concepts in years past, IMEX has decided to dedicate every one of the workshops to topics surrounding critical social justice.

In a remarkable display of tone-deafness to their core constituency IMEX, has taken the critical social justice road of the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and BlackRock. As opposed to helping struggling event and meeting professionals find creative ways to budget, financially succeed, and work with creative responses to attrition, IMEX has decided to create social justice warriors as opposed to successful meeting planners.

Workshops at IMEX 2021 read like a meeting featuring Kimberlé Crenshaw and Ibram X. Kendi:

-Tourism Diversity Matters
-The Good, the Bad and the Blind Spots: Targeting Beyond Unconscious Bias
-Setting up an inclusive event stage

The workshops of IMEX 2021 are reflective of organizations who have decided to fully dedicate themselves to the religion of woke with demands that all of those in the industry follow their magisterial lead into the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Michael O’Fallon explores the issues at IMEX, and the evolving woke travel industry in this enlightening episode of Public Occurrences, Both Foreign and Domestic.

We turned in one of our best away performances in the Champions League in recent memory to secure a statement win in Lisbon.

Against the reigning Portuguese champions – unbeaten all season and second in the Champions League league phase going into the game – we netted three without reply in a dominant first half. Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz put us two to the good before Gabriel headed in from a corner on the stroke of half-time.

An early second-half goal from Goncalo Inacio gave the hosts brief hope, but Bukayo Saka’s penalty and Leandro Trossard’s late goal from a parried Mikel Merino shot gave the scoreline gloss on a remarkable night in Europe.

The travelling Arsenal supporters were left to celebrate our biggest away win in the competition since beating Inter by the same score in 2003.

Another European away day, another excitable home atmosphere to try to dampen early on, and we did just that inside the opening 10 minutes. We had started really brightly, having our first attempt on goal in the first minute, but Riccardo Calafiori’s follow-up after Martinelli’s cross was half-cleared went harmlessly wide.

We continued to dictate the early play – Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka combined well inside the area but the hosts scrambled away the danger.

Then came the breakthrough. Jurrien Timber found space on the right, sent in a low cross that asked questions that the Portuguese defence couldn’t answer, and Martinelli stole in to score past Franco Israel and net our first away goal in the Champions League since Eddie Nketiah netted against Eindhoven in December last year.

We were good value for the lead though. Sporting – with a 100 per cent domestic record this season had barely got into our half in the first ten minutes.

It was little surprise then when we doubled the lead midway through the first half. Again the build-up came down the right, this time Thomas Partey lifted a ball over the defence for Saka to scurry onto. He stabbed the ball through the legs of the advancing keeper inside the area, and Havertz had the simple task of tapping in from a yard or two out.

The home fans started letting off fireworks inside the Estadio Jose Alvalade, but all the entertainment was being supplied by the boys in red and white. We were knocking the ball around in midfield, our movement causing no end of problems for a team that hasn’t dropped a point at home in the league since the season before last.

The locals were growing increasingly restless, not used to any visiting team dominating them in this way. Their last home game in this competition don’t forget, was a 4-1 dispatching of Manchester City.

And literally with the last touch of the first half, Gabriel made it 3-0. Declan Rice’s swerving corner from the right was just on the money for our big Brazilian defender, arriving to power in his header at the far post. It was a near-perfect first-half display.

Sporting were simply not used to being in this position, and came out with renewed determination for the second half. A minute after the restart David Raya made a full stretch save low down to deny Hidemasa Morita, and from the resulting corner Goncalo Inacio turned the ball home at the near post.

Hope for the home side, and the sound levels turned up several notches. It was our turn to come under pressure. Shortly afterwards Viktor Gyokeres won a free-kick right on the edge of the area, and took it himself, firing well over.

The momentum had swung, but in one swift moment, it was back in our favour. Odegaard broke into the area and his progress was abruptly halted by a challenge by behind from Ousmane Diomande. A penalty was awarded, and Saka stepped up to score decisively, his first away goal in the competition.

With our three-goal cushion restored, we were back in control. On came the subs and two of them combined for our fifth. Mikel Merino’s long-range shot was parried by Israel, and there was Trossard to finish off.

Ethan Nwaneri could have added a late sixth, but the job had well and truly been done by then.

Our videos for babies and toddlers teach animal sounds, first words and encourage baby and toddler speech and language development learning. We use techniques recommended by speech therapists. Join us as we learn about pets and animal sounds in this fun “Talking Time” video! After pets, you will see some of our farm animal video and then some slow speech exercises. We hope you find the toddler speech learning exercises, activities and techniques helpful.

If you think your child may have a speech delay, talk to your pediatrician. You may qualify for free speech therapy through early intervention. You can also get an assessment from a speech therapist. The sooner you get help, the better!

Just to be clear, we ourselves are not speech therapists. Rachel has a masters in music education and teaches preschool music. She has also taught many toddler classes. We also include toddler songs and baby songs in our toddler speech learning videos. Simple songs can help the development of language and gestures! Gestures and imitation are building blocks that help with language development. We also include some sign language and pretend play. Baby sign language can help with the development of language and will not impede the development of language and speech. We also model pretend play. Pretend play is an important toddler skill.

In this video we will go over the following animal sounds: Dog, cat, bunny rabbit and farm animals, cow, duck, pig, sheep and horse. Animal sounds are a great way to encourage your child to make sounds and experiment with their voice. A fun toy that may encourage language is a toy barn with toy farm animals. You can get right down on the floor at your child’s level and make the animal sounds. It may help to hold a toy by your mouth so they look at the way your mouth produces the sounds.

This video may also be helpful to children with apraxia, autism, down syndrome and other developmental delays and special needs. We hope the speech activities, exercises, lessons and training are helpful! This video is great for a baby, 1 year old, 2 year old, 3 year old, 4 year old and even older!
